Heath Umbreit (they/them) is the Adult Services Librarian at a public library in the Northeastern US. They hold a BA in English and an MLIS. They design trainings and have presented at state, regional, and national library conferences, as well as for individual libraries and library boards.

Their presentations focus on communication and mis-/disinformation, with a particular emphasis on: popular narratives about disinformation, the concept of epistemic supremacy, the intersection of disinformation and systemic power differentials, and anti-trans misinformation from a library and information science standpoint.
